Cowtown Coliseum tickets & upcoming events

If you’re looking to experience a true piece of Fort Worth’s cowboy spirit, Cowtown Coliseum is the place to be. This historic venue has been at the heart of the city’s ranching roots since it opened back in 1918, making it one of the oldest indoor rodeo arenas in the country. Walking into the Coliseum feels like stepping into a live history book, rugged wood, vintage signage, and a gritty charm that’s hard to find anywhere else. Over the years, especially in the early 2010s, they spruced it up with some modern touches without losing that authentic rodeo vibe. There’s even a big outdoor area for events, perfect for summer nights or big festivals. Want to really feel the adrenaline? Whether you’re catching the Stockyards Championship Rodeo, PBR events, or Buckin' New Year's Eve, the main floor seats give you the best sound and closest views. Private suites with their fancy dining options and bathrooms make it feel like a special night out. And if you’re trying to find it, just head up University Blvd from the Historic Stockyards or take a scenic drive from the FW Botanical Gardens down Lancaster Street. Honestly, it’s a must-visit for anyone wanting a taste of authentic cowboy culture or just a good ol’ fashioned rodeo thrill. Trust me, once you’ve been to Cowtown Coliseum, you’ll want to come back again and again.
